BTA dispatching

BTA (Dispatching) Limited based in St. Daivid‘s, Bermuda, was incorporated in early October 2005 with the island’s taxi owners and operators as stakeholders. The company was formed by Bermuda’s taxi association to manage the deployment of GPS dispatch technology to the island’s taxis as mandated by Bermuda’s Ministry of Transportation.

The 400-vehicle fleet of BTA was fully operational with one of the most advanced GPS-based dispatch systems within two months of selecting the product, and thereby meeting the Ministry of Transportation’s deadline of February 6, 2006, for having GPS technology installed in all of Bermuda’s taxies.
